Mile 46: Face To Face In Maasailand

Mile 46 unveils the intimate lives of a traditional Maasai family through the revealing photographs and journal entries of a young American woman who lived with them in a dung hut on the rugged outskirts of Kenya in 1988. More than a quarter of a century later, that same woman, author and photographer Joni Binder, revisits the journals she wrote and the photographs she took and connects her young voice with her twenty-first-century worldview.
